Gli adolescenti di Mancini, nell’era della thirteen diretta dalla Hardwicke, preferiscono sospendersi, griffati Puma ed Everlast, all’interno di una dimensione spazio-temporale “non verificabile attraverso l’esperienza” come si conviene alla metafisica. Provvista di artigianali mezzi di trasporto e teletrasporto, la nuova stirpe evita di condividere l’impegno esistenziale minacciato dai vecchi, da quelli grandi, per astrarsi ed errare di luogo in luogo come un pellegrino che ha sniffato tanto Star Trek. L’avvenire è puramente fantascientifico e sicuro di riuscire a visitare lo spazio comune/ambiente collettivo solo di passaggio, senza soste prolungate che possano tramutarsi in appartenenza.

Il giovane uomo, nel suo villaggio dei dannati neuromante, distrutti robots a pile e annoiato da automatismi posticci, chiede al Santa Claus olografico l’occupazione polifunzionale della matrice, dell’utero posto dietro le apparenze che possa garantire l’autonomia delle opzioni e, chissà, suggerire l’identità di un eletto ancora fermo sull’uscio di casa e fresco quanto un piccolo buddha pieno d’ostia in corpo. Ragazzini confezionati dalla Generazione X di Coupland affetta da “riproduzione stranamorica: far nascere figli per compensare il fatto di non credere più nel futuro”.

The adolescents of Mancini, in this age of Thirteen directed by Hardwicke, prefer to suspend themselves, brand named Puma and Everlast, inside a space-time dimension that is “not verifiable through experience” as agreed upon by metaphysics. Provided with handcrafted means of transportation and teletransportation, the new generation avoids sharing the existential commitment threatened by old people, by adults, to subtract themselves and wander from place to place like  pilgrims that have sniffed a lot of Star Trek. The future is purely science fiction and certain to allow visiting the common space/collective environment only in passing, without prolonged stops that could transform themselves into belonging. 

The young man, in his village of neuromantic damned, destructed robots on batteries and bored by the false automatisms, asks the holographic Santa Claus for the polifunctional occupation of the matrix, of the uterus placed behind appearances so that it may guarantee the autonomy of the options, and who knows, suggest the identity of the elected one that is still standing in the doorway fresh as a little Buddha full of hosts in corpus. Boys made by the Generation X of Coupland affected by “Strangelove reproduction: to have children to compensate the fact that they don’t believe in the future anymore”.
