Un’immagine della città che appare come il risultato di continue e successive stratificazioni di patine e semantiche molteplici; stratificazioni più leggere e veloci di quelle che segnano le ere geologiche, come se avvenissero sulla medesima superficie quasi senza sedimentazione. Fatta salva la presenza poetica – sta a dire creatrice – della traccia umana, anche indiretta, attraverso vestigia contemporanee (le insegne e i manifesti, con il lieve implicito degrado da creazione a produzione), quando non affidata al segno manoscritto, alla traccia più personale e intima della calligrafia.

An image of the city that appears as the result of continuous and successive stratifications of patina’s and multiple semantics; lighter and faster stratifications than the ones that mark the geological eras, as if they were taking place on the same surface almost without sedimentation. Made without the poetic – that is to say creative – presence, even indirect, of human traces, through contemporary footprints (the signs and the posters, with the slight implicit degradation from creation to production), when not entrusted to a handwritten sign, to the more personal and intimate trace of calligraphy.
